How to use a web 2 application for education

I have chosen the web 2 application http://www.wordle.com/indexcf.php. I have chosen this application because I have noticed that there are educational games for 3-13 year olds can play. These games will help the children learn through a fun way instead of the boring old books and teacher telling them what to do.

I have chosen to post about learning through playing games because when I was a child I found it much easier to learn through games on the pc rather than read books and listen to the teacher and copy from the whiteboard. This helped me because I enjoyed what I was learning and wasn’t bored learning it. I also think that there are a lot of children that would benefit from this just like I did. However there are also other types of learning for example out of books which others might find helped them better through their school years. Since then I have learned how to mix books with games which helps me a lot nowadays. This web 2 application is absolutely fantastic for the children who feel that they learn a lot more through playing games. While looking through the website I tried out some of the games and they are to perfect quality.
